Style & Visibility

Overview:

The Style & Visibility section in ValorAlgo allows traders to customize the visual representation of various indicators and signals on their charts. From changing the colors of trend clouds and reversal signals to defining the specific timeframes when indicators should appear, this section gives users full control over the visual presentation of their trading data.

Style Settings:

In the Style tab, users can adjust the appearance of various indicators. Here are the key style options:

  • HH (Higher Highs), HL (Higher Lows), LH (Lower Highs), LL (Lower Lows):

    • Choose the color and position of the labels (above or below bar) to display key market structure signals.
  • Bullish Mild Reversal & Bearish Mild Reversal:

    • Customize the colors and label positions for bullish and bearish mild reversal signals.
  • Reversal Up & Reversal Down:

    • Set the colors and positions for the reversal signals based on momentum shifts.
  • Trend Cloud & Trend Catcher:

    • Define the colors for uptrend and downtrend clouds. These clouds give a visual representation of market trends, helping traders confirm market direction.
  • Vortex Cloud & Stratus Cloud:

    • Adjust the colors of these trend clouds to visually distinguish between different types of price action.
  • TP (Take Profit):

    • Set colors and positioning for the take profit levels that appear when a trade is executed.
  • Boxes, Labels, Lines, Tables:

    • Toggle the display of visual components like boxes around labels, lines connecting key points and tables summarizing values.
  • Precision:

    • Select the precision for values displayed in the chart, allowing traders to choose between default, high precision or low precision values.
  • Labels on Price Scale:

    • Enable or disable the display of important labels directly on the price scale for easier reference during trading.
  • Values in Status Line:

    • Decide whether to show calculated values in the status line for a quick glance at market conditions.

Visibility Settings:

In the Visibility tab, traders can control when and where certain indicators and signals should appear on their charts. This section helps ensure that the chart remains uncluttered by allowing traders to hide or show indicators based on specific timeframes.

  • Ticks:

    • Enable or disable the visibility of indicators on tick charts.
  • Seconds, Minutes, Hours, Days, Weeks, Months, Ranges:

    • Adjust the range of each timeframe to control when indicators should be displayed. For example, you can show signals only on charts that display data in certain minute ranges or disable them for specific hours.
  • Ranges:

    • Toggle the appearance of indicators on range-based charts.

The Style & Visibility settings are essential for traders who want to customize the look and feel of their charts. Here’s how they help:

  • Enhanced Visualization: By adjusting colors, line styles and label positions, traders can ensure their charts are easy to read and focused on the most important data.
